Wegman Rd. pre-construction meeting

There will be an on-site, pre-construction meeting for the businesses on Wegman Rd. to discuss the upcoming construction project and its effect on traffic flow. Officials from the contactor, the Township,  and the Medina County Highway Engineer’s Office will all be on hand. The meeting will take place near 5460 Wegman Rd. on Thursday 7/27/2017 at 1:00pm.

Drill at Wastewater Treatment Plant 6/24.

Attention Valley City Residents

Valley City Fire Department will be participating in an exercise at the Liverpool Waste Water Treatment Plant Saturday, June 24th. The exercise will start at 9:00am and conclude by 1:00pm. You may hear an audible warning horn and see a white vapor cloud, they are part of the exercise. There is no danger to you, it is a harmless vapor created by a fog machine used by fire departments for training. Vehicles from fire, EMS, Hazmat, Sheriff, State Patrol, and County Transit will be entering and exiting the plant.We are preparing the first responders and plant personnel to respond to an incident at the facility. Hydrant Flushing

The Valley City Fire Department has begun hydrant flushing and maintenance. A FD vehicle will be out and about in the Township on a daily basis flushing and maintaining hydrants.
